Coolus Privacy Policy
Effective: August 1, 2026
Bepuljang ("the Developer") takes the privacy of Coolus ("the App") users seriously. This policy explains what the App collects and why.
1. Information We Collect
The Developer does not collect information that directly identifies you.
- There is no sign-up and no login.
- The App does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
- The App does not access precise location, contacts, photos, or the microphone.
However, the following third-party SDKs bundled with the App automatically collect this information as you play:
- Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID) — used to serve ads and cap how often they appear.
- Device and app information — device model, OS version, app version, language, and country.
- App usage events — app launches, the end of a run (victory or defeat), use of the time warp, and whether a rewarded ad was watched. Used solely as statistics for tuning game balance.
- Crash and diagnostic information — error reports when the App terminates unexpectedly.
- Approximate location — country-level information inferred from your IP address. This is not precise location.
2. Data Storage
The App stores your game progress (resources, buildings, research, and so on) only in on-device storage (AsyncStorage).
- Your save data exists only on your device and is never transmitted to an external server.
- Deleting the App deletes your save data with it.
- The advertising and analytics information described in Section 1 is stored on Google's servers and is subject to Google's data retention policies.
3. Network Use
The App uses the network to load ads and to send analytics and crash information. Gameplay itself does not depend on a server, so the App remains playable without a network connection.
4. Third Parties and Processors
The Developer does not sell the information collected. The following services collect and process the information described in Section 1 directly:
- Google AdMob — advertising
- Google Firebase Analytics — usage statistics
- Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting
For details on how these services handle data, please see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
5. Your Choices
- Reset or delete your advertising ID — go to Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
- Opt out of personalized ads — available on the same screen.
- Delete everything — uninstalling the App removes the data stored on your device. To request deletion of statistics already transmitted, contact the email address in Section 8.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not primarily directed at children. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and will delete such information without delay upon becoming aware of it.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the changes will be posted on this page and the effective date updated. Significant changes may also be announced in the App or in the release notes.
8. Contact
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please get in touch.
